This is about adding avatars/banners etc to your post or signature. When you post this is what your post will look something like this: Custom titles: The custom title, in this case, Live.Love.Sing&Dance can be either text or a small image (less than 100x100) but it can't be changed by normal users, if you would like to have a custom title, head to the requests board here and one of the staff will set it up for you. Avatar/IconTo change your avatar/icon, signature, or personal text first go to your profile by clicking: (Or on your username in your post) Once there, click 'modify profile' Scroll down to find the heading 'Personal Information' You will see something like this: You can select: and pre-set avatar or an image from your own photobucket. Once we get more images in the hmforum_pics photobucket you can also get an avatar from there. The maximum image size is 100 x 100 pixels. If yours is not square, it pays to put in the numbers to keep the aspect ratio right so your picture doesn't look stretched or squished. An icon by definition is 100x100 pixels, so every icon in the hmforum_pics photobucket is already at 100x100 so you should be okay. Personal TextJust type your text in the 'personal text' box. SignaturesThe text in a sig can be confusing, take mine: As you can see, you can add pictures, change the font colour, change the font, add text. . .etc. If you want to include a link, an easy way to do this is: [ url = INSERT YOUR LINK HERE ] click here [/url] (of course you don't use spaces.) For a more detailed look at how that is done, go here BannersYou can create your own or use one from hmforum_pics

Why isn't this working on my computer? I would liekto change my avatar and it isn't working. I put the url in the appropiate box and the width and length to 100, nothing. It doesn't change. Could somebody kindly email me what I'm doing wrong or what I do need to do? This is well appreciated. I would like to thank Missy Lissy for doing it the last time. Please help, I would like to do this on my own. Thank you!

Are you sure that you're getting the direct link URL? I know I had trouble remembering that when I first started.

No problem.
Okay, on photobucket, there are all the codes you can use to post your pictures...for this particular site, you have to copy and paste the direct link URL into the avatar bar. If that makes any sense?

When you click on a picture, there should be a list of codes to use somewhere on that page, use the direct link URL.
